Three Head Sander

The first head does heavy stock removal. It takes off the rough material. The second head does fine sanding. It makes the board flat. The third head does polishing. It makes the surface smooth. One pass. Three jobs done. A public company that makes decor boards used this machine. Before, they had three machines in a line. That took 15 meters of floor space and 6 workers. Now one machine does it all. Floor space went down by 15 meters. Workers went from 6 to 2. Their pass rate went from 97% to 99%.

Three heads make a lot of vibration. The frame is extra thick. All three heads are cast steel. The machine stays steady. The sanding belt is 2720mm by 1330mm. The sanding roller is Ø370mm. The machine handles boards from 3mm to 40mm thick. Max width is 1300mm. The machine has a PLC and touch screen. You set the thickness. The machine controls belt tension and tracking.
