The first head sands. The board moves forward. The second head sands again. One pass. Two sanding actions. A large plywood factory making 600,000 sheets per year used this machine. Tilted Heads Give a Better Surface
Tilted heads cut at an angle. This is called shear cutting. It leaves no waves. No bounce marks. No edge rounding. The Double Head Sanding Machine uses this technology on both heads. Your boards come out flat and smooth. The first head takes off most of the material. The second head makes the surface smooth. The main motors are 55KW and 37KW. The feed motor is 7.5KW with variable speed. Feed speed is 10 to 50 meters per minute.
Built for Heavy Work All Day
Two heads make more vibration. The frame is extra thick. Both heads are cast steel. The machine stays steady. The sanding belt is 2720mm by 1330mm. The sanding roller is Ø370mm.
