Four Blades Cut All Four Sides at Once
Cutting boards to size used to be slow. Workers would cut one side. Then the next. Then the next. This took time and gave uneven results. Our Lumber Edger cuts all four sides at the same time. The board goes in. Four blades spin. The board comes out with four straight edges. A plywood factory making 5000 sheets per day used this machine. Before, 8 workers over two shifts could only cut 3000 sheets. And the sizes were often wrong. Now 2 workers cut 5000 sheets with no problem. The diagonal error is less than 1mm.
Auto from Start to Finish
The Lumber Edger does everything by itself. Suction cups pick up a board. The board moves to the feed belt. Sensors find the correct position. The board goes through the four blades. The finished board comes out. A stacker puts it on a pallet. No one touches the board. The machine uses a Mitsubishi PLC and a touch screen. You can change board sizes in seconds. The blades are Ø255mm with 120 teeth. Each of the four motors is 7.5KW.
Safe and Clean to Run
The machine has a full safety cover. Light sensors stop the machine if someone gets too close. The cutting area has a dust port. Connect it to your dust collector. The shop stays clean. The machine is modular. You can add more infeed or outfeed conveyors. You can also add a separate stacker. Here are the specs.
