For Extra Long 4x10 Foot Boards
Standard edgers work for 4x8 foot boards. But many shops now make 4x10 foot boards. These are longer. Standard machines cannot take them. Our Sawmill Edger is made for this size. The cutting length goes to 3050mm. That fits a 4x10 foot board. A fire door maker used this machine. Their product is 4x10 feet. Before, they cut by hand because no auto edger fit their size. Hand cutting was slow and not accurate. After getting our machine, their edging output went up 4 times. Their size accuracy went to under 0.5mm.
Four Blades Sync for Long Boards
Cutting a long board straight is hard. The Sawmill Edger uses four blades that work together. The board moves through on a precision feed belt. Sensors keep it straight. The blades cut all four sides at once. The edges are smooth. No tears. No fuzz. The motors are 7.5KW each. The blade size is Ø255mm with 120 teeth. Feed speed is 0 to 30 meters per minute. You can adjust it for different board types.
Full Auto Infeed and Outfeed
The machine loads itself. Suction cups pick up each board. The board moves to the feed belt. After cutting, a stacker piles the finished boards. No one touches the board.
